About OTEKO

OTEKO is the largest private investor in the port and industrial infrastructure of Southern Russia

The OTEKO cluster at the port of Taman is a large-scale greenfield project that has significantly expanded the southern corridor of Russian exports. Two terminals - an oil loading and bulk terminals - provide safe, reliable and environmentally friendly transshipment of cargo using the optimal available technologies.
Environmental protection
Preservation of Taman's natural riches is one of the key tasks of OTEKO, along with the development of its industrial potential. The company implements a set of organizational and technological measures to reduce the anthropogenic load and protect the environment.
Environmental protection

There are two marine terminals in the OTEKO cluster:

  • Taman transshipment complex of oil, oil products and LPG with design capacity of 20 million tons per year, launched in 2012.
  • Taman Bulk Cargo Terminal (TBCT) with a design capacity of over 70 million tons per year (60 million tons or more of coal; 5 million tons of sulfur; 5 million tons of mineral fertilizers), launched in 2019.

The auxiliary infrastructure includes 200+ km of railroad tracks, 120+ km of power lines, power substations, and sea access canals.

OTEKO’s terminals can accommodate ships with up to 220 thousand tons deadweight — the largest vessels capable of navigating the Bosporus Strait.

OTEKO designs, builds and operates the port and related facilities using its own funds and commercial loans without gov. budget financing.

OTEKO’s management system complies with ISO 9001 international quality standards.

OTEKO is one of the largest employers and taxpayers in Krasnodar Region. The company employs about 11 thousand employees, over 90% of them are Kuban region residents.
